There will not be any new photographs today, just a short update on what is happening in my exciting photographic world.
10:30 this morning- my little helpers and I visited Burton Green Nursery for a short speech about photography. Kids were fantastic, very excited and eager to learn. There was peace and opened mouths while I was showing them my gear and portfolio.
They were mostly hypnotised with a shoot through umbrella and a tele photo lens. "Woooow! That's magic"- Jack said, "Can you use it when it's raining?"- asked a little girl... Even the teachers had questions. "What do you do if the little ones don't want to smile for the camera?", "Easy"- I said, "Singing, dancing, searching for a rabbit behind me or whatever else it takes to make them laugh!" I love my job!

Photographing kids is not always easy, or should I say it is always a very unique challenge... Believe me it is a lot more difficult when there is a whole bunch of them!
Last Wednesday I decided to organise a promo shoot in my local Children Centre. I knew all my little models as they were simply my babies' friends. It was a bit chaotic with everybody running around, small space and of course the excitement. There wasn't much time to talk to every child and put them at ease this time. I had to be as quick as.... thy allowed me to. So, there was singing and bribing them with the camera and dancing and all sorts of things I had to do (with a huge help from the rest of mams). Finally we got as many shots as possible and everybody was happy!

Well done everyone! I hope you had a great time. I know I did...

"This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life" Winnie the Pooh

Another evening of fun with the white background!

Doesn't it feel sometimes as if you were a child, who cannot get enough fun with their new toy. You go on and on about it and don't want to share... Well I decided to share my new "toys" with my dear friend and it ended up like this!

Some days are just not right no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try... It has been a very busy couple of weeks with all the equipment arriving, building the website, sessions, suppliers and... my beautiful children of course;) Enough of this pessimism and apathy, I said to myself! I decided to try out the new background and the rest of new gadgets. Once the door to my little ones' bedroom closed I organised myself a privet photo shoot... with the most understanding, friendly and... a bit crazy photographer I know... Myself;))

Welcome to my blog!

I will start sharing all my interesting stories and images with you very soon;)
